Providing individuals with the tools they need to succeed and create positive change throughout disinvested communities is essential. Launched in 2017, in our Non-Violence workshops, attendees learn about crisis intervention, street advocacy and more.

Most of us are fortunate enough to have a home to go to and a comfortable bed to sleep in daily. But for many people, access to these simple pleasures have been lost due to many unfortunate circumstances...job loss, health, low wages, debt. We provide emergency, transitional and permanent housing assistance.

Finding and maintaining employment is an important step towards self-sufficiency. Our job training programs provide clients with the skills and resources they need to succeed in today's job market. We never leave our graduates alone, we provide on the job coaching and lifelong support and securing, and maintaining employment.

Our Founder and CEO, Siri Hibbler
Because of her deep passion for helping others, our Founder is the recipient of many awards for her passion and dedication to empowering individuals in marginalized communities. A serial entrepreneur and inspiring leader, Siri is known for giving out groceries on her birthday and throughout the years to individuals and families. She launched the Covid-19 African American Relief Fund in 2020 at the height of the Covid pandemic, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars in less than 3 months that allowed her to give out funds to businesses throughout the country to help them sustain their businesses, provide fresh groceries to senior citizens and single parents with children, and support to our front-line workers. Our leader is not just a visionary, she is a creative thinker, planner, strategist and implementor. In addition to being recognized for her Global impact, she has received several awards for her work in social services, economic and business development, including:

Our Mission
Over 80 million people across more than 70 countries are battling hunger, homelessness, violence, and unemployment. In the United States, over 500,000 people experience homelessness on any given night—a number that will continue to rise unless we implement bold, community-driven economic solutions.
At Field of Dreams Visionary Center (FODVC), we are committed to eradicating homelessness, violence, trauma, drug addiction, and poverty by fostering economic empowerment, financial literacy, and wealth-building initiatives in marginalized communities. Through collective economics, entrepreneurship, and workforce development, we work to create sustainable pathways to homeownership, business ownership, and financial independence—ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of prosperity.
With lived homeless experience, our Founder, created Field of Dreams in 2013, incorporated in January 2016 and opened its first office in January 2017 in East Garfield Park are of Chicago. There, we served approximately 400 clients per month and responded to over 100 calls per day—providing critical resources to those in need. Today, our mission continues to grow, building economic resilience and closing the wealth gap through innovative programs that uplift individuals, families, and communities.
Our Programs
We provide housing placement, violence prevention programs, drug addiction, trauma, anger management and domestic violence counseling, workforce development, financial literacy, entrepreneur training, job placement, re-entry services, wealth building programs and Youth STEAM (TM), after-school & Summer programs.
In 2018, our Founder researched and developed the first extended aftercare *Addiction treatment program in the State of Illinois. We are raising funds for this center on Chicago's westside in hopes of opening in 2025/26.
We are also excited to announce that in 2022, FODVC launched the first Illinois *Homebuyer Roadshow (TM), bringing resources for homebuying including downpayment assistance to marginalized communities. In addition, we provide homebuyer coaching services, workshops and credit repair counseling. These initiatives have been established to help lift individuals out of poverty and homelessness into wealth and ownership.

Field of Dreams Visionary Center is a social service agency, providing food, clothing, housing and job placement resources for the homeless and low-income families, and individuals. We provide workers to help staff nonprofits, small business for FREE, you pay the workers not us. We offer several programs to help workers sustain employment, including Career Development Coaching and Advising, Financial Counseling, Team Building Training and Crisis Prevention. We are always in need of volunteers, so please feel free to join us to work on our Advisory Board and/or with our programs.
